The famous Kaziranga Wildlife reserve occupies 430 sq. km. of swampy plains, south of the Brahmaputra river. The main attractions here are the Great Indian bustard and the One-horned Rhino, the Asiatic Buffalo, Tiger, Leopard and wild elephants. |
